ANSONIA – He-Man, the Care Bears, Optimus Prime, Ninja Turtles and more classic toys are set to invade the Ansonia Armory at 5 State Street, Ansonia, CT on Sunday, Dec. 1, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as the City holds its first ever Toy Show to benefit the Children’s Room at the Ansonia Library.
Entrance to the show is $5, with all proceeds (including vendor fees) going to the purchase of new books for Ansonia’s Children’s Library. Over 20 vendors are expected, specializing in vintage toys and collectibles like comics, games, and colorful pop-culture artifacts.
“It’s an opportunity for treasure hunting shoppers to strike gold,” said Mayor Cassetti. “And maybe an opportunity to pick up that special toy that Santa may have forgot to bring you back in 1985.”
