“The Game,” a documentary about the football rivalry between Derby and Ansonia, premiers 8 p.m. Nov. 1 on Comcast 10.
Ansonia’s Sean Morse and Derby’s Mike Cannici interviewed a laundry list of players and coaches for the documentary, and spent countless hours looking through archival game footage dating back decades.
They chatted with the Valley Indy about the documentary during a podcast recorded Oct. 28. Click the play button to listen.
“The Game” will screen 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 2 at Derby Public Library, 313 Elizabeth St.
Cannici, the host of “Hometown Heroes” on Comcast and the “Valley Sports Rewind” podcast on the Valley Indy, will appear with Morse for a Q&A session after the movie.
