SEYMOUR — Aquarion Water Company announced that it will begin replacing on a water main on Beacon Street in Beacon Falls in mid-October.
A press release said that the work is expected to be completed by December. About 380 feet of water main will be replaced. Griffin Brothers Excavation LLC, of Seymour, has been contracted for the work.
Aquarion said to expect minor traffic delays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. while the work is underway.
