BRADLEY SCHOOL CELEBRATES DR. SEUSS

Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place on or around March 2, which coincides with the birthday of Dr. Seuss.

To mark the event, Bradley School students were treated to read-alouds of Seuss books by Derby Mayor Anthony Staffieri (right), Derby Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Matthew Conway (left), and a surprise visit from a special guest, the Cat in the Hat (Sam Pollastro, center).

One kindergarten student was heard to exclaim, This is the best day of my life!”
