
The Derby Centennial Lion’s Club will be participating in the Summerfest of Saturday, June, 29, 2019 at the Derby Green, Derby, CT. from 11:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
At the festival:
- The Club will be collecting used eyeglasses for recycling.
- The Club will be collecting hearing aides for recycling.
- The Club is also fundraising for Diabetes Awareness to provide A1C Testing free to the community. Together with our host, Griffin Hospital, ​“Casual Walk for Diabetes” is scheduled to be held at the Derby Greenway, Saturday, October 19, 2019.
Please join us at our booth to learn more about our health and our services, upcoming events and the recycling of eyeglasses and hearing aides.
Also, we are selling T‑Shirts and calendars.
The Lions Club community is very well-networked throughout Connecticut, and we enjoy many fun events amongst our important causes.
