DERBY — City police are investigating a stabbing that happened after a Derby High School basketball game Monday night.

Lt. Justin Stanko said police were called to the emergency room of Griffin Hospital at about 9:20 p.m. after receiving a report that a 24-year-old man was being treated for a stab wound.
