SEYMOUR — The latest class of former standout athletes have been selected for induction into Seymour High School’s Sports Hall of Fame for 2023.

The Seymour High School Sports Hall of Fame Committee recently announced the latest class of Hall of Famers, which will be inducted at a banquet in their honor on Oct. 28 at Birchwoods at Oak Lane Country Club in Woodbridge. Tickets are available at Town Hall, through Committee Co-Chairman Paul Roy and through Paul Sponheimer at Armand and Gregg’s garage. For more information about tickets, call Roy at 203 – 305-6731.

The inductees have distinguished themselves both on and off the ball field, the grid iron, the swimming pool and more, according to Roy, who established the Sports Hall of Fame in 2011 when he was First Selectman.

Seymour High School has sponsored athletics for more than 75 years,” Roy said. I believe, and the committee believes, the individuals that helped Seymour High School to be recognized as a great school for athletes and coaches deserve to be recognized with the honor of enshrinement into the Seymour High School Hall of Fame.”
