DERBY — The properties that formerly housed Altimari’s, an Italian deli, has been sold, according to a press release.
The prepared statement did not reveal what’s being planned for the vacant space where Altimari’s stood for decades. The properties also have apartments.
Altimari’s has been closed for some time.
Carmelina Properties, LLC sold the 7,000 square-foot buildings at 182 and 184 Elizabeth St. for $410,000. A public database shows the buyer as EYI Properties, LLC. The principal of the limited liability company is Elvis Kandic, according to a state business database. Kandic is a real estate investor and restaurateur out of Orange.
Fred Messore, the former Seymour economic development director who is vice president at Colonial Properties, represented the seller, Carmelina Properties, LLC, according to a press release.
The buyer was represented by Tony Vitti, a realtor with Colonial Properties.
The seller was represented by attorney Paul Begemann of Gesmonde, Pietrosimone & Scrignari, LLC in Hamden. The buyer was represented by attorney Brian Lema of Berchem Moses P.C. in Milford, according to the press release.
