The Seymour Pop Warner Jr. Pee Wee Cheerleaders are headed to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, to compete at the Pop Warner National Championships.
This is the first Seymour Pop Warner cheer squad to go to Nationals.
The Jr. Pee Wee’s qualified for the National Championship by finishing in 1st place in their division at the New England Regional Championship, where only the top 2 teams in each division throughout New England move on to Nationals.
The squad is made up of 26 girls and 9 coaches that will be traveling to the National Championship and they are responsible for their own travel expenses.
Fundraising will begin this week to help defray travel costs.
