The following was posted on Seymour government’s Facebook page:
“DPW will begin collecting Xmas trees as described below.
Operations begin @ 7:00am, so residents are encouraged to have their trees placed neatly at the curb free of obstructions the night before.
Pls note: Xmas trees must be free of decorations when placed at the curb for pick-up. Artificial type trees are not acceptable for curbside collection. Residents can also discard trees at the transfer station Tuesday thru Saturday 8:00am‑2:45pm.
DPW WILL FOLLOW SAME SCHEDULE AS YOUR TRASH/RECYCLING PKUP. COLLECTIONS BEGIN ON MONDAY 1/6/2020 THRU FRIDAY 1/10/2020….
In the event of inclement weather, schedules may get delayed. We are asking Residents not to be alarmed, as we will certainly re-route our teams back through collection routes to pickup.”
