Since Dec. 29, there have been about 13 thefts from cars, according to an e‑mail Wednesday from Ansonia police Lt. Andrew Cota.
Thefts were reported on North Cliff Street, Alan Drive, Pinecrest Avenue, Macintosh Lane, Jewett Street, South Street, Highland Avenue and Harris Road.
Loose change and electronics were stolen from vehicles that were not locked.
