DERBY — The World War One Cannon at the Derby Veterans Memorial Building has recently been restored with new wheels. The old wheels were delivered to the Witmer Coach Company in New Holland, PA. where the Amish replaced the original German wheels with new ones.
The Board of Governors for the building wish to thank everyone involved in the restoration of the cannon and wheels, with a special thank you to Frank Pepe who removed, cured and re-attached the wheels. Picture by Marc Anthony Izzo.
