Biggest Democratic Contributors

The next biggest donor is Drayton-Rogers, who donated $572 to the Democrats. Donors who gave $500 to the Democratic cause include resident Robert Rzeszutek, town tax collector Karen Guillet and John Rogers, Drayton-Rogers’ husband.

Drayton-Rogers said her campaign is in a good position financially and expects it to remain strong standing on a solid two-year record of flat taxes and economic growth.

Haversat’s Contributors

Haversat’s biggest supporters include Ed Carver, who donated $550. Carver and his wife formed Keep Oxford Green,” a political action committee which is causing controversy among Democrats in town.

Haversat has also contributed $150 to his own campaign.

People are energized and I am excited and happy with the results,” Haversat said of his fundraising results.

Haversat said he is confident in his chances to win the town’s top seat based in his previous terms on the board of Selectmen from 2003 to 2006.
