Photos: Ansonia Breaks Ground On Its Riverwalk

About 30 people were on hand Tuesday morning for a ceremony to mark the construction of the Ansonia Riverwalk.

The walking path, to stretch along the Naugatuck River from Division Street, will cost $2.4 million, the majority of which is covered by grants.

The path will extend along the river toward Pershing Drive and South Main Street. An entrance will be off Division Street, across from BJ’s Wholesale and the Derby Greenway.
