Emergency officials said Monday they spotted five vehicles floating down the Housatonic River Monday during that nasty flood.

And by the way — the National Weather Service is predicting another 2 – 4 inches of rain Thursday into Friday. The Housatonic River, as of Tuesday night, was still three feet above its 11-foot flood stage.
