Pit Bull Survives New Haven Shooting

A pit bull was shot in the face last at a New Haven park last Saturday (April 6) and survived after the bullet missed its brain by a centimeter.

Now police are asking anyone with information about the suspected shooter to contact them at 203 – 946-6316.

Here is the suspect’s description: A dark complexioned black man in his early 30s. He stands between 5’09” and 5’11” and is of average weight considering his height. His hair is styled in very short dreadlocks, and he has no facial hair. He wore a black Champion coat with a black letter C” on the left breast. He wore a deep red or maroon baseball cap with a light colored (possibly white or yellow) emblem on the front. He wore denim blue jeans and sneakers.”
