ANSONIA — Police are investigating a shooting that sent a 37-year-old man to the hospital.
Police said they responded to a report of shots fired at 7:25 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8 on Pork Hollow Road.
Officers said they found a victim who had been shot in the lower body. Several shots had been fired, according to police. They did not specify how many times the man was hit, but described his injuries as “non-life threatening.”
Police at 11 p.m. Dec 8 released a description of a “vehicle of interest” in the crime. It was described as a newer Ford Mustang convertible, colored blue or gray, with white license plates.
Police described the crime as an “isolated incident.”
