Tufts Medical Center is honored to establish the Project Purple Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, created through the generosity of Project Purple in recognition of Dr. Wasif Saif on behalf of Pancreatic Cancer Research at Tufts Cancer Center.
The Fund is established by Project Purple, a Beacon Falls-based charity dedicated to combating pancreatic cancer, with a charitable gift commitment of $35,000.
The Fund’s mission shall be used only for pancreatic cancer research and education purpose within the purposes of the Cancer Center.
The Fund will be under the supervision of Dr. Wasif Saif (PI), Director, Gastrointestinal Oncology Program, Leader, Experimental Therapeutics Program, Tufts Cancer Center. It will support efforts relating to the study and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
“This fund follows in our mission of helping to fund a cure for Pancreatic Cancer and we are super excited to be partnering with the amazing staff at Tufts Medical Cancer Center,” said Project Purple Chairman Dino Verrelli.
