Every two years, on Election Day, Seymour gets together to select nearly all of our elected officials. This year, on November 5th, the following positions will be up for election:
First Selectman
Board of Selectman
Board of Finance
Board of Finance alternates
Board of Education
Planning & Zoning Commission
Board of Police Commissioners
Board of Assessment Appeals
Library Board of Directors
The Seymour Democrats are currently seeking potential candidates for each of the elected boards ahead of the formal Caucus in July.
Whether you have a wealth of expertise or are brand new to the process, you will feel welcomed and your interest will be taken seriously.
