Seymour Police Lt. Paul Satkowski sent along the following e‑mail Monday afternoon:
“The Seymour Police Department is looking for assistance in identifying the male depicted in these photographs. Click here to make the photos full screen.
This male committed a theft of religious items and a theft of jewelry from local businesses.
The vehicle used in this crime is a white colored Chevy Malibu Maxx which is shown in the attached photograph.
If anyone could help identify this perpetrator please call Seymour Police – Detective Scott Nihill at 203 – 881-7625.
All information will remain anonymous.”
Police didn’t name the specific businesses, but said one store suffered a loss of more than $4,100.
The crimes happened Friday, July 12, mid-afternoon to early evening.
