SEYMOUR — The Town of Seymour will host its annual tree lighting ceremony and Santa visit on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The festivities will run from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in downtown Seymour (Main Street), and includes letters to Santa at Town Hall, popcorn, candy, face painting, hot dogs, soda, hot cocoa, a petting zoo and pony rides and a bicycle raffle.
Santa will be stepping off the 6:20 p.m. train on Main Street, followed by the annual tree lighting at the American Legion, 37 Bank St.
Toy donations will also be collected for the Toys4Kids program.
The event is sponsored by the Seymour Culture and Arts Commission
