Told in January that she had to find a new location, Schumacher announced Tuesday on her Facebook page that this Saturday would be her last at Seymour Lumber.
“WW will be closed for a few days so I can get it ready for new spot at Whittemore ice cream!” she wrote. “YIPPPEEEEEEE!”
The status update was “Liked” by 76 people.
Whittemore Ice Cream is at 114 South Main St.
“It’s a good match,” Schumacher told the CT Post. “People can come and get their hot dogs and ice cream.”
Schumacher told the Post she plans to open April 29.
