Shelton High Student President of DECA

On Feb. 27, 2013 Shelton High School’s Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA), participated in the 60th Annual State Leadership Conference at the AquaTurf in Plantsville. 

Shelton High School DECA attendees included Izabela Abissi the DECA Secretary 2012 – 2013, Casey Douglas the DECA Treasurer 2012 – 2013, Cynthia Guerra and Lenni Paolini the DECA President 2012 – 2013. 

DECA is an international organization, with its mission prepare emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.”

At the conference, Shelton High DECA president Paolini ran a successful campaign and was named DECA president at the Connecticut State level. 

Paolini will serve in the capacity of Connecticut DECA state president for the upcoming 2013 – 2014 academic year.
