The Shelton Board of Education will be holding a Public Information Night at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28 in the auditorium at Shelton Intermediate School.
The address is 675 Constitution Blvd. North.
In this meeting we will be explaining our budget request, and discuss the likely impact if we need to run the district at less than a maintenance or roll over budget.
By law, our budget must balance, and given the size of the currently projected gap and the fact we’re already running a lean budget it’s going to hurt our ability to provide kids the quality education we strive for.
We will take questions from the audience.
