Someone shot a car on Ansonia’s Lester Street late Saturday.
Police said the incident happened at about 11:50 p.m.
No one was injured. The car was shot once, according to Ansonia police spokesman Lt. Andrew Cota.
Police do not have any suspects or witnesses at this time.
The shooting happened shortly after a separate disturbance on Main Street.
Police do not believe the two incidents are related.
At about 11:30 p.m., a large party left Planet Eris coffee shop on Main Street and several teens caused a disturbance on the street, Cota said.
One teen — Howard Rumley, 19, of Derby — was charged with breach of peace and interfering. Rumley was released on a $1,000 bond.
Lester Street and Main Street are on opposite sides of the Naugatuck River.
