A Jeep Liberty bumped the showroom window at Fitzpatrick’s Chrysler Jeep on East Main Street in Ansonia Monday.
No one injured, but a large window in the front of the dealership was smashed.
An early radio transmission said a vehicle had driven into the showroom.
That information was not correct.
Firefighters, police and the fire marshal were on scene briefly.
The accident was reported about 12:30 p.m.
