ANSONIA – Spector Furniture and Mattress Gallery, a family-owned furniture and mattress store in Ansonia, CT, is celebrating its 134th anniversary on Jan. 13, 2024.
The store will host a special gathering with local dignitaries, customers, and community members to mark this milestone.
Founded in 1890 by Simon Spector, a Russian immigrant who started selling furniture from a horse-drawn wagon, the store has grown to become one of the oldest and most trusted furniture and mattress retailers in Connecticut, serving generations of families statewide.
