ANSONIA — Police on Wednesday charged a 19-year-old Stratford man with the October robbery of a convenience store.
Shanqueto Pinnock is charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, fifth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit fifth-degree larceny. The two first-degree charges are felonies.
He is accused of being part of a pair that robbed the S&A Mart at gunpoint on Oct. 20, 2020 just before 7 p.m. The store is at 95 Division St. near Griffin Hospital. Several hundred dollars were stolen, along with some merchandise, police said at the time.
Pinnock is being held on a $350,000 bond. He’s due in court March 31.
A second suspect remains at large.
