DERBY — The following information was sent Friday morning by The Derby Cultural Commission:
“Dear Vendors and Friends,
After following the weather forecast (National Weather Service) all week and then hearing from nervous Vendors on the Thunder/Lightning predictions, the very tough decision was made to reschedule Derby Day for the Raindate of September 16th, Noon — 6 PM on the beautiful Derby Green.
At least the majority of the work is behind us. A very Special Thank You to Jamie Wilson and Ed Armeno. Thank You for your patience & all of your tremendous help. Each and every Vendor is very appreciated. This list is not inclusive of everyone so spread the word pretty please.”
