ANSONIA — Police on Friday released an age-enhanced image of Vanessa Morales, the child who went missing from Myrtle Drive on Dec. 2, 2019.

Vanessa was a year old when she went missing. She is now almost 2 1/2, police noted.

The image was created with the help of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The FBI is offering a $10,000 reward in connection to this missing persons case. Ansonia police are asking anyone with information to call them at 203 735 1885. Anonymous tips may also be left through this URL.

Vanessa’s mother, Christine Holloway, was found dead in their home in Ansonia in December 2019. Vanessa’s father, Jose Morales, was charged in February 2020 with Holloway’s murder, along with tampering with evidence. He pleaded not guilty and his case is pending in court. Police said Morales was the last person with baby Vanessa, whose image has been shared across the nation.

Morales is due back in court Jan. 21.
