Derby WR/DB Jake Tomczak, a Register All-Area selection in 2010, will miss the entire upcoming season after tearing the ACL in his right knee during a preseason camp last Friday, according to Derby coach George French.

Losing Jake Tomczak, one of the oustanding members of the undermanned Derby High School football team — will be a tough loss to overcome.
