Former Howard Stern Show Writer Jackie ‘The Joke Man’ Martling To Appear In Seymour

Click play above or below to listen to an audio interview with former Howard Stern Show head writer Jackie The Joke Man” Martling, who is scheduled to perform 8 p.m. Saturday March 2 at The Strand Theater, 165 Main St. in Seymour.

Martling has been a headlining standup comic for 40 years. He’s best known for his 15 wild years with Stern, during which the show became arguably the biggest and most influential program in radio history.

WARNING: Jackie’s standup routine is R‑rated, to say the least. This podcast episode would probably rate a PG-13.

The Joke Man” is coming to Seymour thanks to Connecticut-based Treehouse Comedy Productions, run by Brad Axelrod (who Jackie takes a few swipes at during the interview).
