Habitat for Humanity Names New Director

Greco

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Waterbury has named Naugatuck resident Arlene Greco as its new Executive Director.

Ms. Greco will replace Keith Weston who retired this December after serving as Executive Director from 2016 to 2018.

We’re grateful for Keith’s leadership and we’re looking forward to the future under Arlene’s direction,” said Michael Ferry, President of the Board of Directors. Arlene has a strong background in community development and shares our organization’s passion for making a positive impact in the community.”

Arlene has worked in the non-profit sector for over 30 years and has led community outreach and development for the past 14 years.

She is a member of the Derby-Shelton Rotary Club and volunteers with Treasured Time and Master’s Table Community Meals.

In 2018, the Valley Women’s Health Initiative named Arlene as a Women Making a Difference in the Valley, recognizing her as an outstanding woman who has made positive contributions to the community.

I am honored to lead Habitat for Humanity. I’m equally excited to have an opportunity to grow the organization and their impact in our region” said Ms. Greco.
