As a Board of Education member, education is at the forefront of my mind when making choices during an election cycle. Ansonia needs a state representative who is an advocate for our students and teachers as well as a champion for fair funding. If elected as state representative, Kara Rochelle will do this and so much more for Ansonia’s schools.
In January, Kara’s opponent voted for school cuts that have sadly resulted in cutting numerous teachers and ballooning class sizes resulting in decreased quality of education provided by Ansonia Schools. This is simply unacceptable. Kara Rochelle understands that our children and our community deserve better. It’s not political, it’s a matter of principle.
Kara Rochelle will be a champion for fair funding so that’s Ansonia can offer higher quality education to our children. That is why I will be supporting Kara Rochelle for state representative on Nov. 6.
