The Oxford Historical Society will present Kevin Johnson as Jordan Freeman, an African-American servant of John Ledyard and the body servant of Col. William Ledyard in the Revolutionary War at the Great Hill United Methodist Church Hall, 225 Great Hill Road in Seymour. The program will take place on Saturday, November 16, at 2 p.m.
The donation for this event is $5. Students of all ages will be admitted free of charge.
ANSONIA – Ansonia will hold its second city-wide tag sale of the year on Saturday (Nov. 22), from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The map above, published on the City of Ansonia Facebook page, lists the addresses participating in the sale.
Hours that a particular address will be selling are up to the sellers at that address. Registration fees paid by sellers are given to the Ansonia Animal Shelter.

YA Wednesdays at Derby Public Library

SHELTON — We can’t believe it’s been 20 years since we strutted out of Shelton High School to the sounds of Usher’s “Yeah!” and worried about getting out of our hometown? It’s time to reunite, reconnect, and relive those glory days at our Shelton High School Class of 2004 – 20-Year Reunion!
So far we’ve tracked down about a third of the class, but we know there are more of you out there! If you graduated from Shelton High School in 2004, this is your official invitation to join us, whether you can attend or not!

1. Early voting for the 2024 Election is under way at Derby City Hall every day this week including Saturday and Sunday. You can still apply for an absentee ballot too. And finally, you can vote in person on Election Day on Tuesday November 5, 2024 from 6 am to 8 pm, For more details — https://www.derbyct.gov/election-information
VALLEY – TEAM, Inc. has announced 41 collection sites for donations to its annual Toys 4 Kids holiday toy drive.
The sites in the flyer above are located in Shelton, Derby, Ansonia, Seymour, Beacon Falls, Oxford, Bethany, Fairfield, and Milford. Donations to collection boxes at these sites will be accepted until Dec. 12.
The full list is pasted below. TEAM is still inviting businesses, churches, and organizations to sign up to host collection boxes. Click here for a Google form to request one.
The annual drive helps bring joy to about 2,000 kids each year, according to a press release from the TEAM website.
