Seymour First Selectman Kurt Miller and Bert Volpacchio, owner of Hot Tamales Mexican Grill and Bar, are hosting the 5th Annual Elected Officials Taco Eating Contest at 5:05 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018.
Participants pay an entry fee and have 5 minutes and 5 seconds to eat as many soft tacos as they can. One hundred of the proceeds benefit TEAM’s Meals on Wheels program.
This year participants include Seymour First Selectman Kurt Miller, Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti, Derby Mayor Richard Dziekan and TEAM President and CEO David Morgan.
