The Ansonia Democratic Town Committee nominated two new candidates to run for Aldermen this November. Both men are filling slots by previous candidates who resigned.
Edward Adamowsi, 19 Kathy Lane, was nominated to run for the First Ward by a 6 – 0 vote among his fellow Democrats and a caucus on Main Street Monday.
Robert Beall, 190 Howard Avenue, received the nomination to run for Fourth Ward by a vote of eight to zero.
Adamowski will replace incumbent First Ward Alderman Peter Danielczuk because Danielczuk moved to the Second Ward and withdrew his name from the ballot. Adamowski works in Seymour at an oil company and is an assistant fire chief at Eagle Hose Co. No. 6 in Ansonia.
Beall was nominated to replace Keith Maynard in the Fourth Ward.
Maynard resigned after he was arrested in August for allegedly assaulting then-fiancée, Ida Maria Maynard.
Beall works at a medical company in North Haven and volunteers coaching youth athletics in Ansonia.
