The ANSONIA 125 celebration continues with an inclusive event for man’s best friend.
Mayor David Cassetti and ANSONIA 125 Deputy Event Coordinator Pat Henri are happy to announce the Dog Days of Autumn.
The Ansonia Riverwalk will be open for dog walking Thanksgiving weekend, Thursday Nov. 27 through Sunday Nov. 30.
Bring your leashed dog for a leisurely stroll along the Naugatuck River during this four-day period.
Whereas the Riverwalk is normally off limits to dogs, ANSONIA 125 is extending open invitations to the many dog-owning families throughout the Valley during the holiday weekend as Ansonia’s 125th anniversary celebration winds down.
Events throughout the year have been diverse, fun, educational and entertaining with one of the goals being to offer something for everyone.
