The Boys & Girls Club of the Lower Naugatuck Valley celebrated Ansonia’s 125th anniversary during National Boys & Girls Club week with Ansonia Mayor Dave Cassetti and Ansonia City Hall staff.
Mayor Cassetti talked to the members of the Boys & Girls Club about Ansonia’s founder Anson G. Phelps, toured the club and sang happy birthday.
Other events of Boy & Girls Club week included a food drive, open the door to the arts day and healthy life style day which included an attempt to set the world record for most people participating in an exercise video in a 24 hour period.
