More About The Campaign

The top-of-the-ticket battle between Cassetti and Adamowski will serve as a referendum on Cassetti’s first two years in office since taking the mayor’s chair from seven-term incumbent James Della Volpe.

Cassetti and Republicans, until recent years a dormant political party locally, swept into power in 2013, taking a 9 – 5 advantage on the city’s Board of Aldermen that has since grown to 10 – 4.
