Derby Debate Will Be Streamed Online

Mayor Anita Dugatto and Republican candidate Rich Dziekan will debate 7 p.m. Tuesday in the auditorium at Derby High School.

Derby Public Schools will be live streaming the debate from this link.

Dugatto, a Democrat, is seeking a third, two-year term. She is the first female mayor in Derby’s history.

Dziekan, a Republican, is a retired Hamden police officer and was formerly the director of constituent services for Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti.

The debate — the first debate in public in at least 12 years — is sponsored by Derby Public Schools and The Valley Indy.

Valley Indy reporters Eugene Driscoll and Ethan Fry are the moderators.
