Mayor Anita Dugatto and Alderman Carmen DiCenso debated the issues facing Derby during an 88-minute podcast hosted by The Valley Indy.

The winner Tuesday will receive the Democratic line on the ballot during the Nov. 7 general election. The Derby Republicans have nominated retired police officer Rich Dziekan.

Dugatto is a two-term incumbent. DiCenso is the president of the Derby Board of Aldermen. He has represented Derby’s Third Ward since 2011.
