Shelton Mayor Mark Lauretti is considering a run for governor in 2014, the Huntington Herald reported Thursday.
“It’s been in the back of my mind for a number of years,” Lauretti told the Herald about a possible run for governor. “After the November election I will probably get some people together to weigh the possibility and probability.”
Lauretti also considered running to be the state’s top elected official in 2010 but decided against it, citing the “disruption” caused by the trial of developer James Botti.
