The Seymour Democratic Party does not have a candidate for First Selectman this year however it has nominated a strong slate of candidates to fill positions on every Board.
To allow the public to become with familiar with these candidates and their positions we have invited the Republican Party to participate in a series of debates.
To date, they have refused to do so.
Each one of our candidates possess a strong desire to serve the interests of the Town of Seymour and the public can only benefit from hearing them express their views.
Because the Republicans have dodged these debates I urge everyone to get to know our candidates as they go door to door and make phone calls during the coming days.
I am sure that once you get to know all the Democratic candidates you will conclude that each one has the dedication to bring all points of view to the table.
I ask for your support of our entire slate and if a debate is scheduled, we will let you know as soon as possible.
