On Tuesday Nov. 3, Seymour residents get to make choices that will affect their everyday life. Local elections will take place on that day and the choices will be very important.
The Democratic Team led by Zani Imetovski is the best choice for Seymour. Zani will be in Town Hall every day and allow his office door to be open to all residents. Zani will work to have Town Hall open 5 days per week. His only job will be to work for you.
Many residents do not know that a revaluation of property took place in Seymour. Because the value of most homes has gone down, the mill rate will be increased and taxes will go up. Why were not the citizens of Seymour told about this revaluation? Because it is an election year.
Several weeks ago a resident asked that the guard rails and post on West Street hill be repaired. The First Selectman said they would be taken care of but it has not happened yet. We are putting drivers and pedestrians at risk by not making these simple repairs.
These are just a couple of examples of needs to be changed in Seymour. Zani will make sure the public is aware of events such as revaluation and when Zani says something will get fixed, it will get fixed. He will make sure everyone knows what is going on and do the right thing for the Town of Seymour.
Zani, Karen Stanek, Phil Wllhelmy, Stephan Behuniak and Michael Boroski will work to make Seymour better than ever.
