Oxford, CT — On Thursday, December 26, the spirit of Chanukah illuminated Quarry Walk as the community came together for the 3rd Annual Oxford Chanukah Celebration. Organized by the Chabad Jewish Center of Oxford, the evening was a joyous display of unity, tradition, and festivity.
The highlight of the event was the grand lighting of a towering 10-foot menorah, symbolizing the enduring power of light over darkness. The celebration reached new heights — literally — with the Oxford Fire Department joining the festivities. From atop their fire truck, firefighters delighted children with a “gelt drop,” raining down holiday chocolates for all to enjoy.
