The details of the report have not been revealed publicly. First Selectwoman Mary Ann Drayton-Rogers issued a press release last night saying the document will be given to state police today.

| Feb 18, 2010 8:01 am |First Selectwoman Mary Ann Drayton-Rogers said Wednesday the town has a “pretty clear picture” of how money allegedly went missing from the town’s Tax Collector’s office.
There is still an active investigation underway, so Drayton-Rogers isn’t saying how much money is missing.
“We are going to wait until all the pieces are in place,” she said.

“I gave them a verbal account and now I have to turn that into a written report to be filed with the state police,” she said.

The $4,500 taken from the finance board’s contingency fund will cover a review of the tax collector’s books from Oct. 1 through Dec. 31, 2009.
