The number of power outages as of 7:30 a.m. show huge strides were made in Shelton during the past 24 hours.
But Oxford and Seymour remain 100 percent powerless — and have been at 100 percent since about 11 a.m. Sunday.
There are residents in both towns who have been without electricity since Saturday.
The numbers:
Ansonia: 640
Derby: 41
Oxford: 5266 (100 percent out)
Seymour: 7469 (100 percent out)
Shelton: 453
