
Police are looking for a man who robbed the Liberty Bank in Beacon Falls Tuesday.
The suspect, described as a “light-skinned Hispanic male,” was wearing a dark North Face jacket, a dark knit-style cap and glasses, according to a statement from state police.
He allegedly walked into the bank at 127 S. Main St. about 1:30 p.m. and demanded money from the teller.
“The teller turned over an unknown amount of money before the suspect fled the area in an unknown direction,” according to police.
A police dog was called to the scene to search the area.

The Connecticut Bankers Reward Association will provide a cash reward to anyone that leads to the identity and arrest of the suspect, police said.
