Election Day is Nov. 5.

In addition to national races such as the U.S. presidential race, there is a contest scheduled for District 104 of the state House of Representatives.

That district covers Ansonia and a big chunk of west Derby.

The candidates in alphabetical order are:

Ansonia Mayor David Cassetti, nominated by the Republican Party.

Thomas Egan, nominated by the Independent Party.

State Rep. Kara Rochelle, the incumbent, nominated by the Democratic Party.

The following guide is meant to give you a lay of the land on Election Day.
